man that sucks. me n my room mate heard heaps of moving around in our apartment about 1:30am the other week. we thought it was each other but only to realise the next day we were both in bed. came home and our balcony door was open. i use to leave my keys out on the bench. now there with me 24/7. and i got a bat under my bed
Mandatory 20 years jail - no parole - for house breakers, home invaders, car thieves and car hijackers and all this type of crime would go down 50%.. We are just too bloody soft in this country with too many years of the lefties, naive do-gooders and bleeding hearts running the Government, bureaucracy and the entire legal system. Really sorry to hear about your car but if they find the low life slimy spivs that stole your car, the stupid courts will no doubt give them a little slap on the wrist and let them go. Oh and they will probably tell you that you are partly culpable as well here for not securing your house better and not securing your car keys. Then when the police give chase to stolen vehicles (like yours) all the "it's too dangerous" whiners and whingers come out of the woodwork criticising them for doing their job and trying to secure peoples property. That's the kind of upside down thinking that we have in this country now. Frankly I don't know how all the good police we have here stomach all the utter crap they have to put up with from the softy courts who let crims go or give stupid sentences, the low lifes they(the police) have to deal with all day every day and all the lefty critics, associated assorted dim wits and of course the snivel libertarians who want to jump on the police just for doing their job ( - a job we all want them to do). Hope you get the car back undamaged.
WOW that's all I can say..... To the OP, sorry to hear your story it must burn when you know some ####wit has taken your investment.
OP, good idea to post here and let people know to keep an eye out.... but problem is we wont know what we are looking for?? A pic and brief description will help. Any distinguishing features? Is it lowered, does it have tint, aftermarket exhaust, any unusual stickers on back window, stock wheels or not? etc etc
**** man sorry to hear! Bet your fuming. We all would be. What where the low life's doing with your car because chase
i live in your area mate and will keep an eye out but as ufo said we need a discription. as for the scum who took it, i'm a big believer of the "15 mins with a baseball bat reform program"..
I'm a supporter of GPS vehicle deactivation technology. Although this is not a new concept, having the system fully intergrated into the vehicels electronics by the manufacturer and controlled by the registered owner or law enforcement could potentially help victims of vehicle theft: 1. get their cars back sooner 2. lower insurance premiums across the board (pipe dream) 3. reduce some of the need for Police to engage in hi-speed pursuits (endangering their lives and others because of idiots). Good luck in getting your vehicle back. But as you stated the way in which it was driven when noticed your probably better off not seeing it again...
Be sure to pot a pic and a good description of the car mate. Also post this information on a few boards... The unfortunate thing is that one of two things will happen with your car. 1) The cops may find it parked / dumped somewhere, or 2) Parts will start showing up at local wreckers or on fleaBay type sites Keep a lookout for any new G8 parts being sold like bonnet, bar, door handles, wheels, stereo, etc...
This is why I sleep with my key on my bedside table and my bedroom door locked. Hope everything turns out well and you get a new car
I recommend that everyone invests in a home surveillance system inside and out to get them on camera, and a gps tracker with a camera in your car.
My car stays behind big locked gates at night, wish i could put it in the garage but dads cars are in there. Maybe ill put a kill switch somewhere? Anyone got a how to on how to haha
