One of my stop light bulbs was blown and when I went to fit the bulb I find the bulb holder is all chalky and wasn't actually connected to the lens part so I'm wondering if the holder parts are availabe so I could solder a new pair into the wiring harness.

I'd be very surprised if your local auto electrician doesn't carry them as a stock item.

Yes, bursons and repco stock them.

but the design is crap and the implementation is cheap. you will blow a bulb every month or 2 for life.

    Replace them with LED's.

I ended up buying 4 from the Holden dealer and spliced and soldered them in and placed the heat shrink tubing over the repaired area.

How much did the sockets cost from Holden? Thanks!
