I'm wondering if you are asking if the commodore gears are straight cut OR if there are straight cut gears and gearboxes/transmissions for drop in installations?

The only straight cut in a gear box is reverse yeah? Thinking about investing in 1-4th straight cut. I think PPG sell them but also do a dog box? Not really cluey on the whole idea and can't seem to find a trans builders or anything to with em anywhere :/

Is this for a daily? Straight cut gears are rediculously noisy, expect to get pulled over frequently.
Reverse gear in a T56 is Helical.

I reckon I've already seen it, really loud earpiercing nearly. I've also seen a video of a wrx with a dog box that wasn't no where near that loud -.-

Unless your having major issues crunching gears I wouldn't bother with straight cut gears... You'll get a heap more attention

Straight cut gears, and no synchromesh are only for people that can really drive.
