You might get away with a resi and leave the rear muffler off. The missus bros VS passed a roady with just the resi and no muffler. Its loud as **** though so i dunno how it passed lol

as long as it doesn't exceed 90db it should be fine right?

how loud is a straight exhaust on a v6 VN?

my friend drives a VN with no exhaust from where the cat connect hahah! yea its fairly loud can hear him from fair distance sound travels well haha..

i got a stock looking exhaust from the cat back for $44 from the wreckers (pick pay n go). it was already modified without a muffler. Unfortunately Holden thought it was a smart idea to design a one piece cat back. i cbf removing lots of **** to put it in so im just going to cut off the current cheap Chinese muffler and replace it with the straight pipe. ill decide from there where to go, if i like the sound level i may finish off the job and run the exhaust under the diff with a straight pipe. otherwise ill run a pipe through the resonator.
