Does anybody else fail to understand what the new Camry ad is trying to tell us, when a guy drives a new Camry to a cliff-top, then dives off the cliff? Maybe the experience was so bad he felt he had to neck himself, I dunno. I guess I'd fell like doing that too if I had to drive another Camry. Hate the bloody things. Some car ads are really clever, like the Toyota "Bugger" ad a few years ago, but these days, they seem to just use CGI and static pics to show off the car. Anybody got comments about other car ads they've seen, good or bad?
I'd love to see an ad for the new GT-R Skyline or 370Z limiter bouncing while getting sideways up a highway on-ramp. Won't happen though
This is sht Hell yeh car adds a getting gayer and gayer, Although I made the mistake of looking up the add for my vs. I was rather dissapointed. Worst add ever......
The one where the guy has that ute and it falls off the cliff is funny, where it's like a montage of him being upset and then he finds it on the beach
This one's also a good one: 1986 VL Commodore - Tows plane | Facebook And here's one from 1982, featuring none other than The Stig! Holden Superwagon TV Ad 1982
I also enjoyed the evolution of the Holden Ute add, but it made me want an old one more then the new one haha.
Hah, that Hyundai ad was actually banned here in Australia, from memory it was because it "encouraged underage driving"....yeah right.
surely you remember the horrible "please consider" campaign: that ad isnt the worst, but i couldnt find the one of the magna driving with a doona cover hanging out of its boot
I like this one it teaches basic velocity principals and shows you can have fun whilst learning !!! Volkswagen 'Amarok' by DDB NZ and Robber's Dog via StopPress - YouTube
