hey guys so i started my car today, and as i took off my car kinda shuddered and all the lights in the dash came on (fuel/oil etc) for about 2 seconds then it went away and the car drove fine again.

and as i was driving to work at night the same thing happened when i turned my lights on.

its kind of like my battery is turning off then on, because my head unit resets when it happens.

lately i have been installing a bit of audio gear, ive only installed front doors and rear speakers, no sub or amp yet. but is my battery to **** to run this?
or should i just give the battery terminals a good clean etc?

any help would be awesome, dont want this problem to keep happening.

Have u installed a head unit also? I would say u've wired something wrong around that area. Can. Try to replicate the issue at home, say turning on the lights and the stereo resets again?

do you have a multimeter, check the battery with the engine running, it should be around 13-14V
also check the battery voltage while your starting the car and see how low it goes...if its dropping right down to 9v then you have a stuffed battery
