Strange noise

Sorry new to this are you talking about my sv6 Ute (manual) if so how can I fix this problem. Thanks in advance

I would look at the oil level and if the filter is correct.

Doubt there is anything wrong with your engine. Sounds to me like a shitty exhaust system noise when you lift off the throttle.
These V6 engines don't sound all that good with loud exhaust systems. I know, I've been there. Still living the nightmare.

Check for loose heatshields in the engine bay and around the exhausts.

The problem will most likely be the aftermarket exhaust system causing the horrible noise, not a loose heatshield.
Could possibly be a stuffed Cat or a muffler with a loose baffle.

Just an update,took it to two mechanics and basically both said the same thing in regards to the noise. These car don’t have a fan so when the revs drop it’s sucking in air (engine) The sound is more obvious with the air conditioning on and with a sports exhaust system.
