    Wow =o wouldn't you have to change out the springs and shocks to compensate the extra weight of the sub frame?

    why? there's 2 geniune VL Walkinshaw Limo getting around. There kinda rare when compared to the E series HSV's mine's an 09 Clubbie and its build 1,4XX and im sure there been alot more made since then........

    We're edging closer to being on the road...

    The bars have now been installed, so it'll be off to the trimmers today or tomorrow to have the seats installed and we'll be just about good to go!

    I should have some more photos up tonight.

    The seats will be styled as per the genuine HSV seats, with a custom touch.

    The seat layout is eight in the rear: 3 forward-facing, 2 side-facing, 3 rear-facing.

    Delivery is set for Christmas Eve. As you can see from the photos, the main items left are the side windows, seat bottoms, and interior trims (for example: between the bottom of the bar and the floor). Then an engineer's inspection, a detail and after that we'll be on the road.

    Here are a couple of photos of the freshly installed bar:

    There's a few interior shots on their way (the post is pending mod approval).

    I forgot to mention that the red sections on the seats/bars are perforated leather; it's not really evident in the photos.

    Well... The beast is complete...!

    I should have good photos over the weekend, but I'll try and get some phone photos up soon.


    EDIT: photos that were sent to my phone have come up very low res, I'll have photos in a couple of hours.
