Stroker stroke length

Hey guys
Bought an engine awhile ago an they told me it was a 383 Stroker but no paper work but I wanted the car not so much the engine any how, engines been sitting awhile an wanted to test to strike out to actually See if it is a Stroker at all so I've been told to take plug 1 out an put a rod or something down an measure the length of the stroke now my question is, what length will a 383 be ? Or a 355 length aswell?

304 = 3.062" stroke
355 = 3.48" stroke
383 = 3.75" stroke (I think)

I thought 304" was 3.02"?

yes 355 is 3.48"
yes 383 is 3.75"
both on 0.030" over bore
