Thinking about getting a strut brace for my vt after noticing a crack on one of the strut towers thinking about getting an adjustable whiteline one or a genuine gm one what one should I go with?

Sounds like you get what you pay for as far as strut braces (according to linked thread). I just bought the Whiteline strut brace, cost $170 for VR and install was piece of cake. No noticeable handling difference nor did I expect any.

Like yourself, I got it to prevent further damage to the strut towers. The cracks are common on lowered cars with the extra weight of the V8. Strut brace won't prevent the cracks from spreading but it will slow down the process.
