Hey all just wanting to know if the plastic caps on top of the rubber strut tops is removable at all? My shocks are adjustable, but the adjuster it at the top which makes me think they are removable.

The plastic cap that you have to take off to undo the nut that holds the strut to the bearing plate? Just use a screw driver and it pops off.

Yep, they pop right off. If your struts are adjustable, isn't there a valve on the base that you rotate or is yours done by turning the shaft? By adjustable I take it that the damping rate and not the ride height is the adjustable bit.

They're bump/rebound adjustable, not hight (thats coil overs). The KYB shocks work by turning the shaft in the top for VN-VS. VT onwards has the knob at the base.
Going to have to firm them up as im looking at lowering it some more, and also to adjust to the softest setting at the drags to help weight transfer.

I have done a few adjustables but they were on VU utes so the valve was on the bottom.
