when mounting the strut top bearing the actualy bearing sits down against the spring and the rubber mount part sits against the top of the strut tower doesnt it? i just changed mine but i still seem to have a vibration so im wondering if the old ones were on the wrong way in the first place?

There's only 1 way these can go together so i'd be very surprised if they were wrong to start with.
When do you notice the vibration ? Did you replace the bearings and the rubber mounts ?
