So I’m starting a thread about stupid things Holden did with the design/implementation of their cars.

So I replaced my front struts, strut tops, brake discs and brake pads, today and it occurred to me that because the bottom bolts on the struts are TTY technically they have to be replaced every time you get a wheel alignment if they need to adjust the camber. Pretty sure that doesn’t happen ever! How retarded to make a bolt that is regularly undone a TTY bolt!

It is very irregular that camber has to be adjusted with these......You also get new nuts and bolts with new struts... :)

That being said, I am very surprised they are TTY....Never struck a problem with them even undoing and doing them back after an alignment....So I learnt something new....

As a owner of a VX SS series 2

Lack of camber adjustment in the rear from factory

Mismanagement and stealing/bleeding Australian tax payers money into GM US pockets, thus killing Australian car manufacturing forever, and yes, Ford Australia did the same, just not as blatantly
