Sub/amp fuse in car??

Hi

Just a quick question about the sub/amp fuse that sits below the steering wheel fuse compartment.
Im having troubles with my sub and amp not working prperly just buzzes, i didnt even know this fuse existed, mine is missing, im not sure whether this could be my problem, im not sure how this fuse could tie in with an aftermarket stereo setup though??

The factory fuse won't affect your aftermarket system. Do you have a Calais? Because these had factory amp and subs and that will be what the fuse is for. Your H/U will have a fuse in it, and your amps will have a fuse in the main power cable in the engine bay.

What components does you system consist of?
