Need further details on your diagnostic procedure.

At least we can rule out the terminations/connections.
Feed/fuses/trigger/Neg test ok? Perfer using test lamp or the live stuff!
Have you tried bridging the 12v trigger to see if it fires up?
Have you tried patching a different audio source? I.e.. tunes from a phone ect?

Yeah done all that but still no good. Is it possible the sub is fkd? It is a bit old and have had it sitting in the garage for 6 months before putting it in my commodore

Sitting around in a clean dry place doesn't normally make things die. Not knowing what you/others are doing tend to lead to a negative result.

If you've tried and tested everything I guess you've answered you're own question. Use it to hold down the user manual on the next amp you purchase aka paper weight.

Well how hard can it be to wire up a sound system ? I've done it twice before with the same sub and amp I'm using now. Only thing thats different is the cables. Longer to fit the commodore

Not hard at all. I'm certainly not going to discuss the semantics of. You say you've tried/tested everything and what you've done is a.ok so I stand by your conclusion...... it's fck.

True. Since you'd know the answer to this.. why is the power light of the amp flashing in tune with the base of any song I play. For example whenever theres a beat in the song the light will flash perfectly with it

Oh ok cool. So the amp itself powers on and the (I'll assume) peak LED shows that there's an input/beat.

Maybe some details about the amp I.e. Brand name/model?

How have you determined the Sub speaker/amp out itself isn't cooked?
