Sub OR amp problems

hey

i recently got my sub and amp (pioneer GM-7100m amp and MTX thunder 4500 15" sub) reinstalled due to a new car everything was sweet until last weekend it started cuttin out on me
now every1's first thought would be the amps safety cut out but if its that how come it wasnt doin it b4. btw i havnt touched ne of the bass treble or sub settings.
i've checked all the connections on the sub and amp includin inside the sub box and there doesnt seem to be any loose connections so im am left with 2 options left maybe a loose rca connection at the back of the deck or i may hav to turn the gain down
does any1 hav any suggestions of y its suddenly cuttin out on me

yeah id say its ground problem check the protect light is comin on when it cuts out if it does it a ground prob or gain is too high, or she could be overheating all these will light up protect light...if light stays off its sumfink else either rca's or mayb ur remote for amp is loose and is turnin it off wen its bumped.....just go round and check everything n do the grounds up tight n make sure it is touchin bare metal not just bolted to a painted suface....

hmmm why would it be the grounds its been workin perfectly for 2 weeks and now suddenly its cuttin out surely the groundproblem would occur straight away and ive checked all amp connections including remote all sub connections includin inside the box checked rca's i even checked groundin today all is good. a bump mayb causin it but i hav no idea which wire is loose.
its becomin very likely that im gonna hav to turn my gain down which will piss me off majorly

problem solved battery was diein put it on the load tester found out it was weak replaced it a problem solved
