Hey everybody, pros and cons of installing a sunroof. I want to add one to my car but then I look at it and think it won’t look good but then yet again it might. I heard that they just hack the **** out of your roof with an angle grinder to put the sunroof in. anyone got any comments or bad experiences with installing sunroofs or having sunroofs?

Ive got a sunroof in mine and I dont see any cons it looks good and I cant imagine a sunroof on a VS making it look ****. Im also sure they will look after your roof when installing it. As for installing them yourself, I wouldnt recommend it unless you absolutely know what you are doing.

1500-2000 I reckon is damn cheap installed for a 'good one'. Good meaning full electric etc. I also dont think you can buy Holden branded sun roofs. They can be installed on utes as well

there is two cons:
1. if you go to bad place to get it done they might not cut the hole in the roof right when they install it and it will leak whenever it rains providing you with a wet arse when u want to go to work in the morning.

2. you've just paid 1500-2000 bucks for a hole in the roof that lets in all the water.

but if you go to a good place you should b ok.

I am yet to see the benefit of a sunroof, my mum and her B/F both have them and my mates EF and the only time the r useful is to squirt people out of with a water pistol or other illegal activities. Other then that they are useless, the amount of air they let in and out isn't that great.
