The boys ( and girls ) in blue on the Sunshine Coast received there first batch of the new beasts during the week.

A covered transporter, fully loaded with marked VE's was delivered, with this in mind, I'm sure us "hoons" and menaces to society will see one soon !!!:w00t:

because the handling meant to be different

I wouldn't worry about that - 1) Chases are limited and very controlled. 2) These guys ain't amatures 3) The handling features on the VE are all a step forward designed to compensate for 'driver' indiscretions.

VE's panels are alot larger than in previous models - I believe the front and rear quarter panels are now attached to the inner section making for one huge side panel that slots over the shell.

With the influx of coppers running VE's, panelbeaters are gunna LOVE it. :yeah:

Nope. The rear quarter panel extends up over the roof line down the A-pillar and stops. Then the front quarter panel starts.
