2011 MY11 Holden VE SSV Ute
Hey all, I've had the new ride for about a week now and loving it. Drives amazing compared to my vz ute and the power delivery is so smooth and available on tap haha. I've got a few plans for the new girl so I hope everyone enjoys reading it and comments their opinions. Thanks for looking :D

Car: 2011 MY11 Heron White SSV Ute

Gearbox: Factory 6 speed Manual

Kilometres when purchased: 10'080km

Currently done: - Stubby Aerial
- Debadge E85 and Series II badges
- Straight rear pipes and dump tips in place of standard rear mufflers

Mods to come soonish: - Twin Hump hardlid
- 20x8.5F & 20.10R wheels
- Exhaust of some sort, will hopefully end up with a full 3" custom exhaust after a while
- Full HID kit on all the front lights and reverse lights with matching white LED parker and numberplate lights
- Change dash lights from red features to blue features.
- Personalised number plates (undecided)
- Other little bits and peices of trim and niceties lol

Future Mods: - Lowered Suspension (cant yet due to a crappy driveway)
- Engine work, as mentioned full exhaust, OTR and possible cam
- Full audio upgrade

Time for some pictures i guess:

A nice blurry iphone pic from the drive home on the night i picked it up:

Then a couple more from the next day after a quick clean. I'll take some more of the outside and interior after i give it a bit of a detail.

Nice buy man, very clean.

You sure that's a MY12 model? All the chrome exterior pieces are missing, unless you swapped them.

thank for the positive comments :spot on: now just to save money to do a bit to it haha

@ whitesack yeah i get a little light headed sometimes haha i do wanna lower it but driveway wont allow me and i dont wanna sacrfice driving my first near new car lol

@vongy10 & ASxTecH yeah im pretty sure its a MY12 cos it was built late in 2011 and thats what its insured as. As for the chrome itself AFAIK it only come out on the 2012 built ones. I might look at getting the chrome bits for the front eventually but its gunna be roughly $400 and I'd prefer to put that into other stuff first

If it was built after September then it's a MY12 model. Mines a 2011 MY12 SV6 built in October and has the chrome bits. If you were thinking of getting a VCM OTR then you have to make sure whether it's a MY11 or MY12 model cause the radiators are different. Just thought I'd help you out.

@ Heath17 thanks mate i love it and as i can afford upgrades i will post them up

@vongy10 ahk i see what you mean, im pretty sure it was first rego'd september so that'd lead me to believe its not an MY12 like i thought and just the MY11. Thanks for the heads up mate. I'll see about pming a mod to fix the thread title
