yeh thats what im thinking....but im going by the same theory as the F1 cars....apparently they were their fastest when they were straight 4 turbos....thats why they chucked the 8 cylindars in.... i dunnoo....im starting to think the v8 is the better option aswell....

VT spac super6
5l+boost will result in a quicker motor.. deffinatly wouldn say longer lasting tho

the super6 is a dam strong motor and is capable of a life of hell and still do 300thousand ks!

but a ls1/2 has alot more potential again..

in the long run its down to what you want and how much ya gona spend

vy ss ute, diesel landcruiser 100s, hq panel van
just some things to think about.
i made 195rwkw, petrol is 6.8l/100km on freeway, 11-14l/100km traffic and 22l/100km when i drive like a ***tard
sounds like crap
not as smooth power delivery as a v8 before custom tune, after is very nice
**** loads of torque
awesome whine
(not sure about insurance, but im guessing less than a v8)
i believe a lot more harsh of the old 4 speed than a v8 is
auto and single spinner = not appropriate driveline (my opinion)

hope i helped in some way.

An 8 always has more potential than a 6 because of the simple fact that the 8 has more capacity. More fuel/air = more power.

It just depends what sort of money you want to spend, and which way you want go. It just boils down to personal choice.
