    hey guys just wondering would it be easier and cheaper to buy a super 6 in a berlina or something of the sort or just put the ls67 motor in my vr

    easier/cheaper to buy the already super 6'ed

    a crate l67 will cost between 6-7k

    In th VS range they only were available as an option in the Calais & Statesman...expect to pay around 8G and up depending on the car condition... You should be able to pick up a motor from the wreckers for around 3G

    not up here in QLD. cheapest I've seen at a wreckers was 5.5k

    Thats steep !!!... a complete S/C Calais with minor panel damage was selling from a yard for 4G a few months back... and a low Km motor, trans, wiring & computer went for $2900 on ebay recently.
