does anyone know the difference between standard vy ecotech and supercharged are the heads any different??
Supercharged heads have injector holes drilled in them, ecotec ones are the same without the holes drilled.
oh cheers any chance could give me some advice on my situation iv got a supercharged vy its had cracked sump all oil drained and has sat for 2 years wondering if better to and wat parts to transfer supercharger to standard v6 or if could revive old supercharged 6
If its only a cracked sump get another ecotec sump and put it on there, as long as its hasnt been started without oil. To swap over the charger to an ecotec you really should swap the pistons over too, but you can run the supercharged heads, intake manifold and charger on a std ecotec it just wont last as long.
