I have a vs wagon live rear, and have put new lows dobi springs in sooo not low enuff so i thought about getting my orig springs compressed 50mm will that be as low a super lows an what are ppls opinions on super lows vs compressed springs?? only askin cause i can get my springs compressed for $50 a pair =D
if anything, get ur superlows reset (compressed) and that way u still have that bit stiffer ride unlike standard springs which are soft in comparison. that way u get the ride and the stance you want. remember thou, going lower than superlows, u should invest in shorter throw shocks so u dont prematurely wear them out
yea i have shortened shocks in already i only want to go as low as super lows cause in nz the height restriction in nz is the lowest structural point may be no lower the 100mm off the ground. so if i compress my standard springs they will still be really soft?
same rules apply here also, 100mm clearance. compressed standard vs compressed superlows always go compressed superlows, u still have the spring progression rate so the standard spring will still be soft and bouncy but its stance will be lower, u'll be bottoming out most if not all the time. where as ur superlows will just sit lower, and u'll get that firmer ride, and only bottom out over bigger ditches. with compressed standard springs it'll sit fine no-one in the car, soon as u add passengers, or items in the boot, the ass end will sag and drop another inch to 3 inches, where as compressed superlows, it wont drop too much at all
i got lows in right now, if i compress them it'll be all good tho a?? was gunna compress them 20-30mms lower sit a little lower then super lows.
