super lows should be ok aslong as you can fit a coke can under your car or the lowest point of the car then should be fine

RTFM for the ten millionth time. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/rdonlyres/CC48FC10-4D57-4F04-82E1-3BD72EF88340/0/VSI8.pdf, Items 4 and 5. The coke can theory is simply wrong. I have never seen any official guide that mentions one.

It may be all well and good to fit a coke can under there, but if you've reduced the suspension travel by too much, then it's not technically legal. HOWEVER, nine times out of ten, you will only be tested for the 10cm rule.

Note, however, that your car must remain legal with passengers, and approx 15kg of luggage for each. I think...

Haha, I've only got superlows on the front, and lows on the back... but still, I have to crab-crawl over the road-spikes outside work at a dead-set 45 degree angle to avoid any scrapes along the exhaust :p

lol @ changing to 2-seater greenfoam

I cruised around for almost a week with no rear seats (while I was removing my sound deadening), and all I could hear was my diff clunking, and whining, and clunking, and whining, and my petrol sloshing, and BOY did it give me the nannies!

Exhaust must hang realllly low! I know I have an 80lt tank, but with Ultras in the ass and 15's on the tank scrapes well before the exhaust does.

Well I had Supers all round in my VN, Never got looked at twice by the police, i cant say it was 100% legal or Illegal. I got Roadworthy for it and it sat pretty good, it was stupidly low. Note: I had no Bodykit and 18" wheels.

    Exactly.

If you're scraping with superlows its your own fault. I have a very bulky kit, ultralow fronts and superlow rears and I only ever have to watch when im parking with the front bar.

Speed humps etc. are no problem if taken on an angle same with driveways (mine is very steep so i go in on very big angle).

My VS has stock replacement Pedders suspension and I can easily hit the tow bar reversing out the drive on that if I just reverse straight out, yet I can get my VN out no problems at all as long as I leave on the right angle (never hit leaving the drive yet).

If your hitting with superlows you simply don't know how to drive a lowered vehicle and you should also be able to tell where your car can or can't go.

lol, I hear what you're saying, but for the record - the road spikes outside work, are on TOP of an iron speed hump. If my car is stationary, the spikes physically touch my centre muffler. Hence the 45-degree approach, so I land the muffler on the far side of the speed hump :)
