Hi all.
Went to replace my engine mounts and noticed there is only one engine hook, on the passenger side. Has anyone supported a L98 , if so how?

Yes all attached. In previous cars I've held up the engine with a brace, lift engine up slightly and R & R mounts. Was hoping this car would be the same

What I'm saying though there is no hook on the drivers side of the engine, wondering what others have done

Hook it around the exhaust manifold (around the front/rear tube, whichever is diagonally across from the existing lift point.

Works fine as long as you use a piece of wood to spread the load (so the walls of the sump are holding most of the load). Unbolt mounts, lift engine, r/r mounts, let engine down and rebolt. Only need the engine lifted for 10-15mins.
