Surging issue VU V6 AUTO

Sounds like it may be an engine fault not a transmission or converter fault. I assumed was happening from small throttle at cruise.

Unless the trans is gone and it's why it sitting on 2-2.5k at 60 or 80 but I'm assuming it's kicking down to those revs when accelerating?

When was last time did plugs , leads or fuel filter? What's the idle quality like?

Plugs, leads, coils, fuel filter where all done about 1000km ago idles perfectly
