    Hi.
Just wondering as to why my car handles like **** after new Nolathane front control arm rear Bushes, New tyres and a 4 wheel alignment?
The front steering is pretty good but if you're at speed, and wiggle the steering wheel a bit, it feels like the rear end is gunna slide out, espesh when you go side to side with the steering wheel. Fkn scary. I hate to see what's its like in the wet.. It didn't handle like this before I got tyres. 235/40R18 Bridgestone Rotational >>>>>> Had to get bushes in first, drove perfect before tyres and alignment.
I'm at my witts end with this car.

Take it back to the tyre shop, explain the situation, get them to go for a drive with you. Hopefully they can see what is wrong

Mine felt like that once when one of my front swaybar links broke, so basically only had the rear bar working so car became very nervous and twitchy and oversteered very easily.

Nolathane is a lot stiffer than the stock rubber so that prob don't help.. Take the car back and get them to check the alignment

    Hi
Ok, took it back to the guy that did the alignment yesterday and ask him whats the go. His reply was in this Vehicle VY CLUBBY there is an adjusting screw on the lower part of the struts and these cannot be adjusted any more..... SO... I take it to another Tyre shop for an alignment to be carried out, I wanted a 2nd opinion. The second place gave me a Spec Printout and the data is nowhere near of factory specs and still pulling to left! By what the 1st guy said it cannot be replaced or renewed, which i think is bull***. Holden wouldn't of designed this with no intention of repair/replace worn items. Is there a kit or something? I dont want to wear my tyres out anymore than normal. I just feel im being taken for a ride....?
This car is starting to be a biatch and im staring to hate it.

    Hi Ppls.
Ok, I took it to a Proper mechanic today after taking it to 2 Tyre shops to have alignments done, still pulling to the left, and did not pick these things up when i told them of what it was doing..
This Mechanic today noticed that the front caster Bush (hydraulic ones) have cracked and let go some time ago, don't know why the guy that fitted the rear ones did not pick this up or do this, no wonder why the Front castor is way out and cant get it no where near factory specs. Getting this done today. He also noticed that the car in trying to lose the rear end - METALLIS's Problem, ( well, it feels like it is at high speed) the cause of that is ALL BUSHES IN REAR COSSMEMBER ARE FLOGGED OUT and that's why it feels like the back is trying to catch the front. Also he said the Front rubber coupling has a few cracks in it.
Its good when you find a decent, honest Mechanic who is passionate about their job.
From Memory when i worked at Repco Parts, Only Genuine and about $500.00. Not happy with the Business who done the Pre Purchase inspection and numerous other jobs after i bought it.
Spent more money on this in 2 months than i ever have on my 97 TF V6 Magna in 6 years. The old girl just keeps on going. Just goes to show.... 2nd owner, original clutch slipping at 275,000 k's
I might have start a gold mine to maintain this Clubby.
