Suspension package

Hey all

I am looking for a good suspension package for my car and I came across a bilstein/king shock and spring combo on eBay for 1300. I'm just wondering if this is any good, thanks

Bilsteins add a fair bit to the cost but better than Monroe (even though they are good enough for daily use). This package should be OK and save you a heap of $$

I was under the impression that you have to buy the whole strut because you couldn't just replace the insert as in earlier models. Am I wrong.

Vr and up changed to struts not inserts

to fit bilsteins to the front of vr-vz require the oe front strut to be cut open and remove the internals and a insert fitted with a press in cap that holds it in, an ve is the same but with a weld on section with a gland nut.
