I thought some of you guys maybe able to help me out on this one. What is the standard gap between the top of the tyre and the wheel arch on a VT?

Thanks in advance.

Hey mate,
that is a bit of an open ended question......every car will be different, even when stock, i'd have a guess at around 2-3 inches....and thats on the back, which you didnt specify against either.....the front may be a tad more.

yeah I was just looking for a ball park figure for both front and rear. My VT is supposed to have standard suspension however I can only fit 3 fingers between the guard and tyre on both the front and rear. Springs and shocks are all black so she has not had after markets fitted to her.
