    Hi all,

I have a 05 VZ Commodore Lumina. I haven't been happy with the ride quality now for a little while and was considering making some changes to the suspension to improve ride comfort and if possible, lower the ride height a little.

As like most people I'm on a bit of a budget so my first concern is improving the ride comfort then if possible the ride height.

    • Can anyone reccomend a method of doing this? Someone mentioned to me a new set of shocks will do fine for the comfort issue.
    • I was also told that for ride height I would need new springs and a camber kit (to save tyre wear). Is this correct? I don't want a situation where I've lowered the car and the ride comfort is really stiff.
    • Can anyone recommend a good tyre and suspension shop in Brisbane I could approach for a quote.

I might be asking too much here but any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Lowering the car will generally stiffen the suspension and thus ride a little firmer. Pedders or similar should be able to help you there.
