Hey guys, I’ve Got a new key about 3-4 months old and recently replaced the slip ring. When I go to start the car it starts well when it’s cold but when it’s warmed up it won’t start. For example driving to the petrol station was all good. When I went to start it again the car wouldn’t crank and I was stranded for about 40minutes until it finally started. When I turn the key the dashboard gets power and the radio. And the power train issue come up and sometimes traction control.
Any advice on what it could be? Thanks

The battery has a green light on it which shows that it is healthy. However I’m not familiar with the neutral safety switch or the ignition switch. Could either of them toss up the engine warning?

If the warning light comes on, get it scanned and find out what the code/codes set are that triggered the warning light.

Yea the codes that I got were for the slip ring and key. But I have replaced both of these for new one and still have a power train light

If the powertrain light is on, there is still at least one code still set.
