2011 Sv6 ve commodore series 2
Hi there guys, I’ve had my 2011 ve sv6 series 2 commodore for about 4 months now. As every p plater always says “oh yeah i’m waiting to get off my p’s to get a v8” But what if I modified my sv6 instead? Are there any pros and cons of having like a turbo v6 instead of a v8 or vise versa? Also taking in consideration cost.
Thanks

(yes I know i’m on my p’s, i don’t want to do engine mods for a while yet, just trying to justify if I should be waiting to actually get a v8 as they all say)

You will need to factor in engineering with a turbo if you want it to be legit, will also be harder to insure. Other cons are that there is faaaar less support for both parts and tuning in Alloytec land, and the parts that do exist are pretty damn expensive (cams are like 1k or 1.2k because there's 4 of them).
