SV6 Ute

How many of you have a VZ S Ute like me and wanted the 190 motor and the 5 speed auto ?

well holden has it available now, its called the SV6 aswell, wouldn't that be right! same mags, some colour, same everything just about ....

im seriously looking at a trade in, i have 75,000km's on the ute now and i'd much prefer an auto with the traffic i drive in these days!

About time, was wondering how long they were going to persist with the "S". The SV6 sedan has been around for quite a while now.

i assume ignition is that orange/red colour ?

yeah i think its stupid that the ute has never had the same engine options as the sedan ....

my sv6 ute will be here in mid nov, seems hard to get a 6 speed in impulse up here

funny you should say that, im in the process of trading my s pack ute in for an sv6 ute and they had a white sv6 ute i took for a test drive, they tried to offer it to me, i told them i'd be happy to wait aslong as it takes for the impulse ..... i went for the 5 speed auto, i've had enough of the manual with the traffic i drive in and also the box doesn't seem real flash to me ....

ehh... i dont see the point in trading my car for one thats pretty much the same. id rather wait for the VE utes.

question for anyone who has driven the SV6 ute... does it actually have some go in it now..? cos the 175 engine is a gutless piece of ****

yep goes well felt just as good as my sv6, need a decsent exhaust though. still sounds like a vacuum cleaner

the 5 speed auto helps alot. Noticeably different but in all honesty still not that great really
