Hey mate, I do agree in part with you here.

I will admit I'm a P-Plater with an 09 sv6 ute and i have put a 2.5" exhaust system through it but only from the cats back.
It is a risk that i'm willing to take and i'm pretty certain that you could get away with this in an insurance claim.

but by the same reasoning doesnt that mean even a k&n panel filter is an illegal modification even though it does the exact same job as the original filter?

I've got twin 2.5" through mine and it is acctually alot better then i expected.
Addmittedly it is no V8 rumble but it sounds pretty nice for an alloy 6.
the only drone i really get is if you drive in 6th on the highway. Put it in 5th and its hardly anymore then the standard exhaust.

He's a p plater that wants more power... Get over yourselves if he wants to do it then go tell some else about your insecurities, haha. You don't know that he doesn't have experience he could have been driving on his L's for five years before going to P's. And to hell with the p plate laws can't drive an eight cylinder or a car without a turbo?? That just means people will go to further lengths to mod their car THEMSELVES in order to hide it and therefore making the car MORE dangerous to drive... And the fact that younger drivers are more at risk is because their judgement skills aren't the best they could be... A six cylinder gets up to 260klh isn't that dangerous enough, what a v8 will get up too 320? 20 kilometers an hour is enough to kill someone... Rant complete...

    Lol @ 5 years = experienced.

I'm 21 and have been driving for 5 years, and I'll be the first to admit, I am no where near 'experienced'.

When you've held rating one for 10+ years, then we can talk experience.

Same, with only 7 years of driving, and im still scared shitless of driving in the rain.

Also, i like the delayed rant, after 18 months of this being posted.

It is true though, instantly your steriotyped as a hoon so I just don't bother. Thing is we all start somewhere, you don't just turn 40 and know everything about everything as most (except those who work in the industry such as steve from mace) on here tend to act like. Not having a go at people this is just a point which bugs me about being a p plater wherever I go.

Seven years driving and your what?!?.... Scared of the rain... How is that possible?? And I don't mean driving to and from work for seven years I mean driving FOR work I'm 19 and I've been driving since I was around 14 and I don't mean only in town... Around farms, back roads AND through town, I'm not trying to brag but I know I'm a good driver because I grew up with it and it's been my occupation for the last 4 years... I can drive circles around most idiots I see on the roads these days... Wether they've been driving for 3 or 30 years yeah experience is good but some people and just born drivers, singers, actors, artists...

The cocky over confidence you display is exactly the attitude idiots have right before they kill someone trying 'impress' someone doing some mad hektik drifts. I feel sorry for anyone who has to live anywhere near where you drive.

    Don't forget idiots...
