So, bought my sv6 last month. (It is a 3.6 LLT SIDI)
(Also sorry for long thread but I thought the backstory was needed)

Had it for a couple weeks then noticed a rattling sound, took it straight back to the dealership from which I had bought it.
Their mechanic later said that it was the timing chain, he replaced it but also said the car need a bottom end rebuild. He also did this. (thank god covered by warranty)

Got the car back and was driving fine until yesterday it went into Limp Mode while driving. Now it wont Idle at all.

Anyone got any ideas of what it could be?
Just some extra info on the car, only mods on it are a rear muffler delete and a Stealth Throttle Controller 4.0

First thing I would do is pull out the throttle controller. They have been known to cause issues.

Also make sure the throttle body is clean.

Don't muck around with it yourself - Keep taking it back to the dealer. It should still be under the 3mth/5000km statutory warranty. They seem like they are willing to fix the issues with it. The more you tinker with it, the less likely they'll come to the party however.
