Hi all im thinking of getting a 2.5 inch mild steel xforce catback and just wondering if i will need extension looms for the O2 sensors
Also does it bolt straight up or will i need different bolts and stuff?

    Thanks

In theory it should just bolt straight up, and not require any extensions for the cat back 02 sensors.
The kit should come with all the required bolts that you need as well (If purchasing new)...
If purchasing a used kit, that is a different matter, but you can buy suitable high tensile bolts from Bunnings if you are in a pinch..

I fitted the 3 inch mild steel xforce catback to my V8, and the biggest problems that I had were getting the nuts off the factory exhaust at the cats.
(One was badly corroded, and I ended up grinding the nut off in anger, and replacing the whole bolt and nut with a high tensile one)....
I also had a problem removing one of the factory post cat 02 sensors (It was like it was fitted with a rattle gun at the factory, and the thread was badly burred, and the thing refused to come out), so I ended up having to by a new one.....

Apart from that, I had no problems....
If you are doing it yourself, take your time, drink plenty of fluids (Beer, Bourbon, or whatever fuel you require) and plan on it taking a whole day...

Here is a quick guide that I wrote when I did mine...
    Cheers

You should be posting in the thread at the top of the page.

But to answer your questions and add to them.
You will not need extension looms, it will bolt straight up with the bolts on the car (although I think it might come with new ones...)
And you don't want a 2.5inch exhaust on a V6. Go 2.25inch and I wouldn't touch Xforce. My system cracked away at the welds after a short period of time.

Your going to need 4 nuts for the cats, and 8 bolts / nuts for the rest

You will also need to get exhaust gaskets for each join (6)

Your bet bet is to pull one of the nuts off the cat, and take this down to bunnings to find a matching one.
To be honest though, if you use loctite on the existing cat nuts, then you should not have any problems with them.
As for Bolts for the exhaust, again, your best bet is to measure and buy some from Bunnings..
I dont know what sizes are suitable off the top of my head, (I only needed to buy one bolt and nut for the cat bolt that I grinded off),
and I bought a couple sizes just to be safe. (They were like $3.00 for 2 bolts and nuts in a pack, so its not something that is going to break the bank)...

You will see what I mean when you get your hands on the exhaust.
The holes for the nuts and bolts are soooo big (To allow you to adjust the position and fitting), that you can us bolt sizes much bigger than what is used as stock, or what is even supplied with the new exhaust...
