    Hey guys.

Today I was getting some prices on a Z Series SV6 sedan, and stumbled upon a baffling feature.

The petrol version comes with 19" Thunder wheels, but the LPG version comes with the standard 18" wheel.

Anybody know why this is? It's very disappointing....

Reckon the dealer could organise Thunders on the LPG model?

    Cheers guys

Yep, and that price is $1,800.

It's ridiculous that the two models have different wheels. I refuse to pay that. :(

Rather than start a new thread...

Has anyone actually bought a Z Series SV6?
I got quoted 39k driveaway fod the LPG version. Seem legit?
The dealer also mentions a 4 month wait for the car? What gives with that?

A workmate just bought a Z series SV6 Sportswagon (LPG version), paid around that (although his son works for Holden so he got a bit of a discount), and it came wiht the 18s. He was happy with the wheels (didn't want 19s on his dirt road) but was very unhappy that mudflaps are now an optional extra. Yes, really.

Also, he had to wait about three months to get the thing, even with a son working in the design dept!

No discount on MY12.5 (Z Series), and I've already had a rebate within the last 3 years. Sad face...

The wheel sizing has some to do with ESP calibration on the LPG and SIDI engines I believe.

Bought a new SV6. Dealer had no problems getting the Thunder wheels put on an LPG model. At a price of course...

i know this thread is old...but i picked up an sv6 z series wednesday..
got it in heron white.......anyway to my surprise....they gave me the updated machined face wheels (still have the grey inset) which look heaps better than the all charcoal ones...
and they look good if the car is in any colour to be honest....me so happy

I picked up a 02/13 compliance plate SV6 with the Charcoal wheels a week ago.

I have only seen the machined wheels on Heron White SV6 Z's, and agree that they look good with that colour. However, I think the charcoal wheels look best for my chlorophyll car.
