Hi Guys. My 2006 VZ Commodore SS Ls1 has SVS Message come on mostly when fuel tank is over half. Fault codes say bank 1 and bank 2 running rich. I have replaced maf sensor.
Any odea what it could be? I know there is a long list of what it could be but message comes and goes randomely.

The attached from the VZ Service Manual may (or may not) help you with your problem.

Thanks Mate. Will check it out.
It is an intermittend svs message and dissappears after short while like it wasnt there.
Its strange that it only appears if i have half a tank or more of fuel in the car. Less than that there is no message !!!

Is the fuel pressure regulator not great maybe?

More fuel creating a little bit more pressure?

The canister kind of looks after fumes at the other end of the cycle. Fumes into the system are not going to increase the amount of fuel entering the system.

Off the top of my head, it might not be a case of too much fuel but not enough being burnt.

It seems odd that post cat sensors (06 models should have them) aren’t having a sook.

That pdf posted by @BlackVXGTS will have the gold.

Yeah the 2006 model only has 2x lambda sensors whereas the 6 liter has 4 and they put in a cat delete in the second 2 sensors. So not sure whays up here at all.
