I'm not hugely clued up on the technical stuff but this topic has been brought up so much and it always ends up at the same result. The V6 is sold and a new car is bought which is often either a V8 Calais or an SS. It's similar in price and more likely you'll end up with a nicer car too.

    lots.

computer, body control module, fuel pump, crossframe, engine mounts, front spring upgrade, radiator upgrade, gearbox (have heard of using the std auto but would advise you change it), diff, driveshaft.

If you are getting the car tuned at the ame time as the install alot of things can be mixed and matched and balanced in the tune.

The V6 and V8 share the same K Frame too. I'd be looking at an L76 swap with a cam and Mafless OTR. Would be a beast
