Hi guys, i know there is a slight diffrence between the vx and the vt fron sway bar,
Just wondering if there is a way to change my vt sway bar to a vx one ?also would there be any diffrence in the control of the car?

i was quoted $945 for a front 30mm adjustable and rear 20mm adjustable whiteline swaybar installed, apperently its a **** job so i got a suspension place to do it. would probably be $200-$300 for just a front one

VT V8 models had a 25mm bar except for VT SS models which had a 26mm front bar (not sure about FE2 option). VX models all had 26mm bar as standard except for FE2 option models which had a 27mm bar. So to get any benefit (since you have a VT SS) you would have to fit a bar from a VX model that had FE2 fitted.

I believe that to do it you have to either A) remove the engine, or B) drop the crossmember. Both are pretty big jobs.

What about the d shaped bushes, to replace them do you still have to drop the crossmember? In a vt with ls1

I'm pretty sure you can get to the d-bushes through the engine bay but not 100% sure. I will bw trying it this way soon hopefully.
