wouldnt be a good idea being the top sway bar nut, it can pop off the strut then u will have bad steering, not to mention u can snap steering rack, the strut

just remove the sway bar and link pins, for the small amount of driving you'll be doing it's a fine temporary measure until you fix it (undo the other top nut, undo the 2 D bushes and take the lot out), be aware the handling will not quite feel right so taking corners at top speed and driving like a race driver isn't advisable.

???? it'll already be effecting the handling, the link pin is no longer connected to the strut so won't make any difference if it pops off or not, worse case it'll move and damage something if it hits it.
how will it snap the steering rack? worse thing is the 2 front wheels aren't going up and down together when you hit a bump.... it's not going to put any extra load on the rack..... the rack ends and tie rod ends are ball jointed pivots for a reason......

LOL. I've temporarily removed one of the ARB links on occasion to disable the ARB, on a number of cars, front and rear, just for fun (testing). Unless the link drops out of the hole and then catches on the edge of the ARB on the way back up (^) it wouldn't (won't) have hurt anything to drive like that. Yes, it will handle a little differently but many people would not (do not) notice any difference.

The only thing I noticed with it that it was pulling to the right a bit. But it's all fixed now took 30min pretty easy to do
