just go and buy some red narva globes they actually look red not pink and they stay that way... leds are crap for tail lights cos the light doesnt spread out and it looks like you have 2 small dots trying to do something when you brake

led's i think are also illegal for road use, they are sold under the pretense of "offroad use only"

The cheapy LED replacement light just have the LED's facing in 1 direction, that's why you just get a large dot.
These ones look like they would do a better job.

i currently run led indicators, brake/parker and reverse globes in my clear tail lights and have never been questioned or warned about them. though, theyre not the typical cheapo ones. they spread the light out the front and sides, not just the front.

and yeh, i think most leds dont pass adr's, so therefore are illegal. as long as they produce enough light, not a crappy "dot", light up the correct colour and the cop doesnt have it in for you, you will be right.

    im using these for reverse

and for brake/indicator are the 20led version(just another 2 leds on the top)

Also led's are low power consumption long lasting.

LMAO how can they be illegal if there fitted to all the new cars and they all pass ADR laws

because those particular ones went through all the tests needed to pass the adr's!!

most of the led globes you buy most likely havent been run through those tests. narva should be one of the exceptions.
