I believe I have a VN pedal box.
The hole for the cruise control switches are larger for one of them.
If I buy a new one to suit will it 1) work with VS wiring 2) Come with the thing that clicks into the box?
Does the spring hold the pedal downwards or is it supposed to force it up?

Also, whats that brass part called? That goes into the pedal box.
I cant find them on eBay...

spring holds pedal down as there is no freeplay in throwout fork and pedal height relies solely on cable adjustment ...spring on clutch is nearly impossible to instal ...I just bent the spring and installed so it worked the same but didnt put as much pressure on the pedal
vn/p/r/s clutch pedal never had factory switch installed for cruise control ..no manual ever had cruise installed factory......although you can install one pretty easy. Check out this thread

So you're saying the clutch needs a switch on it also?
I thought it would just have it on a brake like the auto...

You dont need it and it will work fine but at certain times you will find that you could put one in like when you have it engagaed and as you need to change down say at 90 to 100 kph to overtake or to stop the engine loading up a hill and you push the clutch in the engine screams its head off.

You need the switch on the clutch pedal for the cruise control is it dis-engages when the clutch is depressed otherwise the engine will hit the limiter.

The brass part would be the bush that the arm pivots on as per the drawing above. Probably need to try your local wreckers or maybe your local Holden dealer.

So its 2 on the brake and one on the clutch?

Not that bush. Sorry. Need to explain better.
The brass part the cable runs through.

Yeah, the brake pedal has 2 switches, one for the brake lights and the 2nd one for the cruise control.

do you mean the part that the clutch cable sits in, in the fire wall?

I never had a switch on my clutch pedal when I converted my VR Berlina to manual. Just don't change gears whilst cruise control is engaged. I didn't find it an issue at all even with the large amount of highway km's that I used to drive. Had one on the brake as standard which gives you a total of two switches on the brake pedal. One for the lights and one to cancel the cruise when you apply brakes

Yep. That part.

Cheers mate.
So how would I fit one to the brake as its a lot larger hole than the one I have. Would I buy a VN switch to fit or?
