T56 ebay short shift, opinions

just after opinions on the cheap ebay short shifts from people that have used them, i need to replace the bush on the end of the shift and figure while i'm in there i might aswell chuck one of these short throw shifts in but thought i'de ask opinions from people that have used them

Can't comment on the T56 ones but have used ebay short shifters in other cars (namely my Silvia because it came with one) and they're garbage. The throw was so short that it makes the gearbox super notchy and it's hard to change gears, sometimes you think you're in gear and you're not (sucks when it's reverse or first on a hill). You basically have to put so much thought and technique into getting it to change properly it negates it being short throw. Totally sucked for a daily driver, just plain made it hard to drive. That and they can wear on your synchros.
