So i turboed my ecotec and was happy with that for a while makin 342rwhp :D



But now plans have changed, sold the v6 turbo setup last year and now fitting a 2j with a borgwarner s363 and a t56 manual to it :)

Done a bit so far, so ill be updating slowly to try catch up on the build, hope u guys like it. I know sumers has got his at a shop over east and theres a VT there too with a 2j in it but I havent seen a 2j VT here in WA yet :D

Heres the bits and pieces I got together:

Borgwarner turbo:




Aristo front cut:


Made some 3.5" flanges:


Made 6into1 collector out of 1 1/4" steam pipe:


Bought the t4 flange and 2j header flange from Damien aka Boost Obsession or Commotion on here :)


Bought a 2jz bellhousing to t56 box adapter plate:




Precision 44mm Wastegate:

Getting my son used to being in the shed nice and early haha


Pulled the motor, wiring harness and auto box out:


Trial fitting time :D :




Decided to start from scratch and get rid of engine mount brackets:

Welded angle onto subframe and fitted new mounts:

Hey yer only a few, dont get much time to work on it, i work, then get home then wife goes to work and i babysit haha

Few Pics of welded up runners:


Manifold pretty much all finished just need to get my mate to weld the end of runners on the header flange and on the collector ends:




Gonna smooth the bay, so made up some plates to get rid of these holes etc

Wasnt happy how the drivers side ran coz i wanted them to both go thru the plates to be simmetrical so changed the rotation of front housing and will be like this(still gotta shorten it 20mm):
