I have a vs ss and when i turn it over the taco bounces off redline until it starts. is it anything to worry about? i just put a new dizzy and ignition module in it.
I don't know what is wrong with yours or how long it has been doin it ,yours could be completely different problem but my manta when stock had the taco start to bounce around while I was driving it !!! was bouncing mostly up wards it didn't last long ,only one drive about 25 mins ,it started missing widely, loosing power ,back firing and then stopped for 15 mins till it just started and coughed and spluttered home then that was it wouldn't start again!!! ecu had fryed it's self more then Charlie sheen and had to get a new one !!! And the ignition modular managed to go at the same time to !!!
I can almost say for certain that the wire to the tacho is earthing out. I installed a tacho to my VT and un beknown to me, the wire had shorted to earth. There was no way in hell it would start until I found the short.
