Tail light tint

I had painted my taillights with that night shades tint. The wonderful long arm of the law has decided that its to dark n i ended up with a defect notice along with a speeding fine.

Has any 1 ever succesfully removed the stuff from there taillights? I know it says on the can that it wont come off to well?

Otherwise ill just borrow some taillights off some 1 to pass the defect.....

Yep, I got defected years ago, and wiped it off with thinners.. I was working as a spray painter and had a **** load of the stuff...

Cool, ill give it a shot. Its either scrub real hard or just buy some newys. Thats why i was looking at those altezza things. Its cheaper to buy them then replace em with genuine lenses....

yeah i dont no hey i guess ive been lucky ive had mine tinted with nite shades 4 about 6 months now and havnt been picked up YET? but i asume its not to fare off but atleast i now how to get it off no

If it is not too dark tho, you can pass it off for being stock .. There have been some cars like the 80-90 Corolla Seca that had tinted lights from the factory... If it is a light tint, you will prolly get left alone, but yeah if it is black as the ace of spades, expect to get attention.

Yeah thinners worked a treat!!! Thanks for that. Used some mild polish just to finish em off. Tottaly back to stock again......
