People i had this problem fixed acouple of weeks ago its a bad earth in the socket cost you about $15 buks to fix its from corrostion and **** thats why when you wiggle it it starts earthing again and working dont try and dodgy it up it doesn't work lol
Trust me thats what i would be fixing

They're wired parallel not series, so if one globe goes the other still works :thumbsup:

correct. and the corrosion thing is a common problem with the actual lamp assembly leaking. there is some sort of compound that you can get (holden used it in the later model cars to stop corrosion) grease like but pale yellow/cream in colour but seems to work as it's in my VS rear globe sockets and i've never had any trouble with it
