Tail shaft not fitting transmission

Hi, just wondering if anyone could please give me some advice. Just bought my 2008 VE S pack 4 weeks ago, transmission died, bought second hand one, now the tail shaft does not fit. It is about 2mm out, so the bolts dont line up. Have i been sold the wrong gear box? Is there something i could buy to make it fit? We matched all the numbers and it fitted perfectly. Would appreciate any advice. New to this great forum, and have been looking for anything with similar comments to no avail.

Something is probably not centered properly. Might be able to align it by loosening the transmission mounts and pushing it over and fitting the tail shaft then retightening everything. But try to work out where the problem is.
