I'm going to reco my driveshaft soon, with new bearing and universal joints. Does anyone know what the dimenstions are for the universal joints? Such as the diameter of the bearings and length of overall joint? Also will oil leak out off the seal of the trans housing with tailshaft removed?
You should really get hold of a workshop manual before pulling the tailshaft - it's a 2 piece unit and the centre bearing setup can be a pain if disturbed. Try the local library - you can photostat the pages.
